About The Position

You are an indispensable link within the financial department. You work closely with the senior financial controller to assist various business units and actively contribute to the growth and development of the organization. You will use your knowledge to continuously improve the administrative organization and internal control. You feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment and switch effortlessly between different tasks.

Requirements

Communication and Social Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse professionals. Some Dutch language proficiency desirable. Comfortable and proficient in English.

Finance Background: Preferably with 1 year of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.

Educational Level: A completed education (HBO/university) in business economics, accountancy, or a similar field.

Organizational Skills: Highly structured and well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.

Software Experience: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel is crucial). Experience with AFAS or a similar HRM package is beneficial.

Personality: Proactive, sociable, community-driven, enthusiastic, and resilient.

Responsibilities

Financial administration

Ensure that all your allocated financial tasks are performed timeously and to the highest
standards of excellence

Financial insights

Support the business in analyzing financial data and trends to support strategic decision-
making. Preparation of financial reports for the management team.

‍Internal support

Support the business in effectively and accurately performing your assigned responsibilities

‍Governance & compliance

Support the wider organisation with internal controls, corporate governance and
compliance requirements

‍Business unit support

You will actively support the broader business by providing them with accurate information
that will be used to improve relationships with internal and external clients.You will also play a
pivotal role in ensuring that debtors and creditors are closely managed.

‍External relationships

Assist with the management of the interim and annual financial audit as well as other ad hoc audits by industry bodies.
